Road Rangers

About Road Rangers Safety Marshals Road Rangers was found on the necessity for Safety Ambassadors on the road during road sporting event, specifically that of road cycling. Due to the high fatality rate amongst cyclists in South Africa, Road Rangers provide a Motorcycle Marshaling Service during road sporting events to ensure traffic free flow and safety to all road users whilst sharing the same space of the road at the same time. Road Rangers is completely voluntary, thus registered as a Non-Profit organisation, who comprises of individuals on their own motorcycles providing a safety service. The Organisation rely on sponsorship from individuals and/or organisations sharing the same passion for Road Safety. Any able bodied person who is in possession of his/her own motorcycle can join the Road Rangers organisation. Training is provided to ensure the individual achieve the required skills. The training and skills achieved, will not only enable the individual to become a Road Safety Ambassador, but also to become a proficient motorcycle rider.
